You can increase your chance of selling your house in a reasonable time by following a few good guidelines.
5 Tips to selling your house:
- Play the cards you're dealt. If you have to sell prepare your house to be the best product possible to get the right price for it.
- Scope out other houses for sale. Look at things from buyers' point of view and get some tips from your competitors.
- Make it a turnkey, not a turkey. The buyer has to feel that he or she can move in into your home right away...
- Stage your Home. Make the buyer feel at home let them look around it is better if you are not home and let your agent do their work.
- Be realistic. Do not over price your home the more it sits in the market the harder will be to sell.
